Welsh, Aileen Peggy (nee Blight) peacefully passed away at Qualicum Beach, B.C. on August 6, 2016 at the age of 101. She was born in Calgary, Alberta on January 31, 1915. Predeceased by Donald Welsh her loving husband of 52 years, son Richard and brothers Jack, Harry and Wyatt Blight. She is lovingly remembered by son David and wife Donna, daughter-in-law Mary, grandchildren Geoffrey, Tamara, Matthew and Dallas and three great-grandchildren. Peggy lived in Edmonton for forty-eight years prior to moving to B.C. She was an avid gardener, loved to sew and liked to cook and entertain for family and friends. For many years she enjoyed "gypsying around" Canada and the United States with husband Don in their camper. Until recently she enjoyed her drink of vodka at 5 p.m. each day. Interment will be at Glenwood Gardens, Sherwood Park, Alberta. SERVICES Funeral Service
