Anmari Therese Trigona

Anmari Therese Trigona passed away peacefully surrounded by her sons on the 14th of January, 2026 in Parksville. She was born on the 25th of October,1951 in Tenby, Wales.

She is survived by her four boys, Ben, Luke, Simon and Julian, her grandchildren Jem, Hayleigh, Madelyn and Beatrice, as well as her many preschool students.

Anmari was raised across Europe, primarily in Malta, the United Kingdom and West Germany, finally coming to Canada in the 70s, first to Toronto and then settling on Vancouver Island, where she would run the Village Preschool for many years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Qualicum Beach Community Hall, 644 Memorial Avenue, Qualicum Beach, on Sunday the 5th of April from 2:30 to 4:30 PM. We invite you to come by to visit, share stories, and spend time together. Coffee, snacks and light refreshments will be available.

The family would like to thank the countless care aides, nurses, and doctors who were there for Anmari day and night.

Mum, you will be missed by us all, family and friends alike.
