Barbara Whitmee Obituary Mom was born, raised and schooled in Duncan before moving to Qualicum in 1950. She was very quiet and always walked rather than ride, and as a wife, mother and friend, Barb always gave far more than she received. Barb is survived by her husband of 65 years, Roger, 4 children: Marsha, (Mat) Nanaimo; son Dale, Nanaimo; Sandra Rich, Coombs; Carl (Pin), Parksville, and 2 granddaughters: Brandi and Maggie. The family sends a special thanks to the caring staff at Trillium Hospice and to our wonderful neighbours on 400 West Crescent and Hoy Lake Roads. No service or flowers by request.
