Obituary

Bradlee “Rusty” Griswold
September 30, 1985 – May 29, 2026

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Bradlee “Rusty” Griswold on May 29, 2026, as the result of a motorcycle accident. He was 40 years old.

Brad was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, friend, teammate, and advocate. He leaves behind his loving wife, Krystal; his beloved children, Braedon, Tanner, Keeghan, and Paisley; and his cherished granddaughter, Aria. He was predeceased by his father, Marshall Griswold, whose memory he carried with him throughout his life.

Known to many as “Rusty,” Brad was a passionate supporter of the people and causes he cared about. He was a proud member of Bikers Against Child Abuse (BACA), a brotherhood where he found friendship, purpose, and a true sense of belonging. Through BACA, he dedicated his time and energy to supporting children who needed strength, safety, and someone in their corner. He remained an active and committed member until the day he died.

In 2015, Brad founded the Antique Riders Club in Regina, creating a community built around a shared love of old motorcycles, friendship, and camaraderie. Through this group, he partnered with the Autism Resource Centre to establish the annual ARC4ARC fundraiser, an event that continues today and has raised more than $25,000 in support of individuals and families affected by autism.

Brad was also deeply involved in the softball community and spent many years playing with the Outcasts. Whether on two wheels, on the ball field, or gathered with friends and family, he was known for his loyalty, generosity, sense of humour, and willingness to help anyone who needed it.He was a favourite uncle to his many nieces and nephews and proudly embraced the role of uncle to countless children of friends who quickly became family. Brad had a way of making people feel welcome, valued, and cared for.

Fiercely loyal and passionate in all that he did, he formed lasting friendships and left a mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.If there is one thing people will remember about Brad, it is that he was the person who showed up. No matter the time, distance, or circumstance, if someone needed help, needed support, or simply needed a friend, Brad was there. His loyalty to the people he loved was unwavering, and his generosity knew no bounds.

Above all else, Brad loved his family. His children were the center of his world, and his wife, Krystal, hung the moon in his eyes. Their love was evident to everyone who knew them and remained one of the greatest joys of his life.Though his time with us was far too short, the impact he made on those around him will endure.

He will be remembered for his kindness, his loyalty, his passion for family and community, and the countless lives he touched along the way.

A celebration of Brad’s life will be announced at a later date. Family and friends are encouraged to share stories, memories, and moments that reflect the remarkable man he was.He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
