On September 1st, 2025, Cathryn (Kait) P. Caruso left this world in the same way she lived her life - On her terms, with no regrets. She passed under the sun, surrounded by her favourite music and loved ones.

Kait made an impression in the lives of everyone she crossed paths with. Whether it be a quick exchange in a grocery store line-up, or a bond that survives decades. She will forever be remembered as Kait (rarely Katie and never Cathryn), Auntie Orge, Maama, and Mom, by her family, her bonus kids, and her friends that grew to become her chosen family.

There will be a celebration of life held in Spring 2026 (March 21st). Due to Kait's love of community and being not only an advocate but a supporter of moms everywhere, the family asks that you bring donations for struggling families, instead of flowers. Non-perishables for school lunches, monetary donations, and children's clothing/toys, are always appreciated.
