Colleen Smith Obituary Mom passed away with her loving family by her side, on July 8th at the age of 73 years. Anne was born in Vancouver on January 25th, 1945. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 53 years, Russel Smith (Dad) only weeks before. She is survived by her 4 children, Teresa, Todd, Jeffrey, and Juliane, along with 8 grandchildren, and many other family and friends. Mom was a loving, compassionate woman who loved sewing and embroidery and spent many hours making things for others to enjoy. She had a silly sense of humour and loved to laugh. She had a compassionate heart, would give all of herself to someone in need and pushed through her own illness with cancer, to be by her husband's side everyday while he was fighting his battle with Multiple Sclerosis. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Special thanks to their care team at Nanaimo Regional Hospital for all they did for our family while Mom and Dad were fighting their illnesses. A celebration of life, for both Russ and Anne, will be held at Old Orchard Hall in Port Moody on Friday, July 27th, 2018 from 1pm to 3 pm. Be at peace Mom, we will feel your love for eternity!!
