Dale Dichrow Obituary Dichrow, Dale Edward November 8, 1944 August 25, 2023 Our beloved Dale passed away peacefully at Trillium Oceanside Hospice after a lengthy illness with Congestive Heart Failure. He was born in Empress Alberta and grew up in Olds on a farm with his parents Laura and Pete along with his brothers Lance, Jerry and Elwood. He left the farm to pursue his dream of becoming a police officer. He graduated from RCMP Depot in 1965 and worked with the RCMP until 2001, ending his career as a Staff Sergeant in Victoria, BC. He retired to Qualicum with his wife Jill following an exciting and fulfilling career. He was an avid angler and gardener, wonderful husband; father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. He leaves his wife Jill, two daughters and their partners Bobbi-Jo (Guy) and Jodi (Marty), four grandchildren, along with five great grandchildren. A heartfelt thank you to the team at Oceanside Hospice for their unwavering excellent care and compassion, with a special thank you to Dr. Susan Hunter, Blair and Crystal. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
