Dani James Obituary In Loving Memory Of Dani Maria James Dani Maria James, affectionately known as Dani-Girl to those fortunate enough to know her, passed away under less than ideal circumstances on September 29, 2024, at her home in Errington, BC. Born on November 12, 1958, in Regina, SK, she lived a life many would describe as 'colorful.' She was 64 years old. Dani is survived by her daughter, Jaemi James, grandchildren Jaden and Ethan Grant and was predeceased by her son, Murray Todd, whose memory held a special place in her heart. She leaves behind a legacy of her own unique love with her siblings, Annette Delorme, Audra Kasyan, and Paul Amendt, each of whom shared a distinctive relationship with their oldest sister. Her journey was one of resilience, having graduated from the school of hard knocks. Danis life experiences and choices shaped her into someone who mastered the art of being outwardly friendly while navigating her self-made chaos. Known for her generosity, she would gladly share anything she owned with those she cared about. She loved hosting gatherings, where she would entertain guests with tales that often felt more grand than true. Whether at the local corner store or in her home, Dani was quick to greet you with a smile, a hug, and a dramatic declaration of love. Her famous "Tootles!" instead of goodbye will be fondly remembered. Yet, for those who knew her well, Dani had a fierce side that was impossible to overlook. She was unapologetic and could easily escalate over the smallest slight, real or imagined. Standing her ground was her specialty, especially when challenged. Never one to share the spotlight, she truly was an unforgettable character in the lives of those around her. May she rest in peace.
