Danny Nixon Obituary The family of Dan Nixon is heartbroken to announce his peaceful passing on Saturday, March 30, 2019, at the age of 71, at his home in Qualicum Beach, BC, after a short but courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Dan leaves to mourn; his loving wife Kimber, his daughters Shelley (Ken), Cathie (Darren), his son Jeremy; stepsons Jarrett (Kimberly), Kale (Lauren); grandchildren Justin, Matthew, Ryan, Katelynn, Dylan, Josh, Travis and Hailey; sisters Darlene (Barry), Carol, brother Tom (Wendy); nieces and nephews and close, dear friends. Dan was predeceased by his mother Melba in 1983, his father Norman is 1998 and stepmother Marie in 2014. Dan was a successful and well-respected business man, who owned and operated Creative Door Services in Edmonton for many years until his retirement in 2006. He loved traveling, golfing, hiking, motorbikes; he was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends. Dan will be missed by his loving family and many close friends.
