Darcy Lee Paquette passed away in the early hours of September 8, 2025, at the age of 63 after a short battle with cancer.

Born in Port Alberni, BC, on October 4, 1961, Darcy moved to Parksville, BC, with her family in 1974, a place she would call her lifelong home. She became a familiar face in the community, working in local restaurants and freely sharing her kindness and generosity with everyone she met.

Darcy is predeceased by her father, Gerald "Jerry" Paquette. She is survived by her mother, Marleen, daughter, Jenna, siblings, Kelly (Juergen), Rocky (Lorraine), Dennis (Lori), Darren, numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

Darcy was one of a kind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered
