David Costantini Obituary David Anthony Costantini, 72, passed away on Thursday, January 2nd, 2025 in Nanaimo BC after a courageous battle with cancer.
David and Donna moved to Vancouver Island in 2019 so he could retire close to the beach.
The beach and the farm became Davids happy places. If you were looking for him, he could usually be found at one or the other.
Prior to retirement, David spent over 4 decades in the railroad industry in Canada, Tanzania, and the United States. His mechanical training and expertise, along with his legendary patience, lead him to become quite the handyman. He would contentedly devote hours and hours to researching and tinkering with any number of home or farm projects.
He could fix almost anything.
David was an incredible husband, father, and Papa. He was kind, generous, and always supportive. His family would describe him as a "rock" - steadfast and resilient.
David cherished time spent with his family, especially with his grandchildren. He was beloved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed.
David was preceded in death by his parents, David and Adelaide. He is survived by his loving wife Donna; his children Katherine, Lyndsey (Jordan), and Matthew (Sarah); his two grandchildren Rory and Caleb; his siblings Audrey, Rosie, Elizabeth (Ken), Anthony, Angela (Keith), and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held at Rathtrevor Beach Park on August 22nd, 2025 for family and friends.
