Dennis Tremblay Obituary In Loving Memory Dennis Jean Tremblay August 1, 1938 - August 22, 2024 It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Dennis Jean Tremblay on August 22, 2024 in Parksville, BC. He is survived by his wife Betty and twin daughters Sheila (Jim, Deceased) and Shelley (Tim) and grandchildren Cory, Aly, Kyle, Tyler (Desire and Nora), his brother Morris, sister in-law Marleen Paquette, sister in-law Kim MacDonald and numerous nieces and nephews Dennis was predeceased by his parents Ivan and Donalda and his sister Jean, his brother and sister in-law Bob and Lori Ohs and brother in-law Jerry Paquette, brother in-law Joe Chisholm and sister in-law Lorraine Tremblay. Dennis was born in Kapuskasing, Ontario. He grew up in Port Alberni, where he met Betty and they were married for 61 years. They moved to Vancouver, back to Port Alberni and then settled in Qualicum Beach. Dennis was a well respected Red Seal Pipefitter with 65 years in local 170. Everywhere he lived he was known as "Mr. fix it" he could fix anything, from plumbing to gas fitting to electrical to cars, and boats, he built the best go carts! He loved to be on his boat fishing. Special thanks to Dr. Sulz and Dr. Dalla Lana as well as all the staff at Arrowsmith Lodge where he had exceptional care (and to his favorite caregivers from his previous facility).
