Ellen passed away peacefully after lighting health issues at Trillium Lodge Hospice for just over 3 weeks. She was predeceased by her first husband Peter J. Crause and eldest son, Peter D. Crause. She is survived by her second husband Leonard Toews, her children Leslie, Kenneth, Laureen and numerous grand and great-grand children. Lovingly known as Mom, Granny and Granny-The- Great, everyone who knew her felt her love and acceptance. Laid to rest in Qualicum Beach Cemetery on November 5th, 2016. Forever in our hearts.
