Elmer Trocha Obituary In Loving Memory Of Elmer Trocha It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Elmer Trocha of Qualicum Beach, British Columbia on October 6, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. Elmer was born in Graz, Austria, on January 22, 1951 to John and Hilde Trocha. Elmer leaves behind to mourn his wife of 55 years, Bea, his daughters: Lisa, Kelly, Erin and chosen daughter, Angela. Elmer was also 'Grandpa BC' to Madison, Evan, Kayden, and Wyatt. Survived by his only sister, Ingrid Shumak. Elmer will be missed by a large loving extended family and many dear friends. For 28 years, Elmer was employed at J.M. Schneiders. Once Elmer and Bea moved to the west coast, Elmer was a well liked employee of Water Pure & Simple and Nurse Next Door. Elmer was also an integral part of the family business, Silly Yak Bakery. Elmer had many hobbies that included tending to his vegetable gardens, amateur photography and he was a music enthusiast whose air guitar skills were unparalleled. Elmer was also known for his bonfires, which were legendary. So, let's raise a glass (or an air guitar) to Elmer, a man well-loved.
