Elsie Shaw Obituary SHAW, ELSIE CLARA ELIZABETH (nee Jones) went to be with the Lord on March 3, 2018 at the age of 94. She was born in Vancouver, British Columbia on November 13,1923. While growing up in British Columbia she excelled in writing, sports and art. After graduation she went to Normal School (Teacher's College) and during W.W. ll she worked for Boeing Aircraft as an illustrator of manuals for various types of aircraft. She married Angus Shaw in 1945. They accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as their Saviour in 1948. Their life-long study of the Word of God enabled them to teach their children the fundamentals of the faith. They were involved in church activities in the communities in which they lived. During her life she produced fine artistic works and she enjoyed playing the piano. Elsie is survived by four of her five children, eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren. She will be missed by her family and friends but she is now rejoicing around the Throne of God with her loved ones and the saints. Titus 2:13 'Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the Great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;'. Elsie was convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, would be able to separate her from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus her Lord.
