Erwin and Beth Brandt Obituary Together Forever Erwin Brandt ( August 13, 1947) & Mary Elizabeth Brandt (January 28, 1949) The family wish to announce the sudden passing of Erwin & Beth Brandt on August 3, 2024. They are survived by their sons, Martin (Maria) and Karl (Jessica); Beth's mother; Helen Krause; as well as several beloved nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Erwin was predeceased by his parents, Herman & Elsa Brandt, brothers, Waldemar, Alex, and Art; and sisters, Margarete and Anna Brandt. Beth was predeceased by her father, Victor Krause. Erwin was born in Berlin, Germany, and immigrated to Canada in 1960, when he was 13 years old. Beth was born in Bassano, Alberta, and grew up in Edmonton. Erwin and Beth were high school sweethearts and married in 1969 in Edmonton, AB. They moved to White Rock, BC in 1980 and then settled in their beautiful home in Qualicum Beach, BC in 1988, where they resided for over 35 years. They loved living on the Island, and will be greatly missed by numerous family and friends. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2024 at 1:00 pm at South Side Memorial Chapel 8310-104 St., Edmonton.
