Gordon Fowler

September 23, 1928 - November 27, 2025

Gordon Fowler of Qualicum Beach passed away peacefully at age 97 on November 27, 2025. Survived by his loving wife of 71 years, Barbara, his children David (Rona), Mary (Paul), Stephen and Diane and his grandchildren, Andrew, Emily, Alex, Anna, Amy, Daniel and Kirt. Born and raised in New Westminster, he spent many wonderful summers at Crescent Beach and Crystal Lake in the Cariboo. He attended Herbert Spencer and Duke of Connaught schools and studied Commerce and Law at UBC. He enjoyed his career of law and real estate in New Westminster.

Gordon and Barbara retired to Qualicum Beach in 2003. Gordon loved meeting new people and joined a number of service clubs over the years but also cherished his friendships from early childhood. He was a great storyteller with a generous sense of humour. He pursued a myriad of hobbies such as fossil hunting, beachcombing and collecting antique postcards, stamps and books. He was an avid reader of history and proud to be the grandson of an American Civil War veteran.

Forever in our hearts, we will cherish the memories.
