Helen Powell Obituary Helen passed peacefully with family by her side. She was predeceased by two loving husbands, William Powell(2002), and Wendel MacFarlane (1973). She was a much loved mother and survived by her children: Rick (Joanne), Debbie (Mel), Cindy (Leo), Brad (Jane), Chris (Val), grandmother of 11, great grandmother of 9, and stepmother to Jim (Terry), and Linda. Helen was extremely independent and very active with her crafts, puzzles, baking and trips to the casino. Special thanks to the staff and doctors at Nanaimo Regional District Hospital for their care and support. Cremation has taken place.
