Jim (James) Dzeryk February 21, 1947 - September 22, 2016 It is with great sadness that we announce Jim's sudden passing. Jim leaves to mourn his loving wife Sylvia, two children, Laura (Joe) of Prince George, BC and Jeff (Twila) of Cochrane, AB. Grandchildren Justin, Ashton and Paige will miss their papa immensely. Jim also leaves his brother Bob (Edmonton, AB.), mother-in-law Simone, sister- in-law Gisele (Mark), in addition to numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family. Jim was predeceased by his brothers Bill, Al, and Fred. Jim loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and held a special affection for all animals. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at the Ramada Edmonton Hotel and Conference Centre (11834 Kingsway NW, Edmonton, AB. T5G 3J5) at 11:00 a.m. in the Courtyard Ballroom. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital (1200 Dufferin Crescent, Nanaimo, BC. V9S 2B7), The Heart and Stroke Foundation, or any local animal shelter.
