Passed away peacefully at Eagle Park Care Facility in Qualicum Beach, BC on October 13, 2017 at the age of 99 years. She was born in Calgary, Alta. May 4, 1916 and lived in Haney, Vancouver, West and North Vancouver and in Qualicum Beach for the past 36 years. She was predeceased by her husband David Gordon Armstrong after 69 years of loving marriage and also predeceased by her youngest daughter, Elizabeth Jean Armstrong in December 2016. She is lovingly remembered and missed by her daughter, Joan Ruth Armstrong, her daughter and eldest granddaughter Michelle Sanelli, husband Mario Hrepic, great granddaughters Alison and Megan Sanelli in Ontario. Also, her son Robert Gordon Armstrong, wife Susan and grandchildren Joel and Faye Armstrong, all from Winnipeg. In lieu of flowers a donation to CNIB, the BC Legion or BC Mental Health Association will be appreciated.
