Les passed peacefully in West Coast Hospital after a long battle of cancer.

He was predeceased by his parents Earl and Nora Whynot. He is survived by his wife, Della of 48 years; his children: Delbert (Sheila deceased), Shelly (Tim), Jenny, David; his grandchildren: Kyla, Nathan, Chantelle, Elizabeth, Patrick and Chuck; his sister, Jean (Ray); brothers: David (Donna), Delbert (Dianne); nieces and nephews.
