Leonard Sawyer, born October 15th, 1927, died peacefully on January 22nd, 2026.

Len is survived by Beryl, his wife of nearly 70 years, daughters Alison and Jane (Sean), brothers Allen and Bert, and sister Valerie.

A hard worker all his life, Len was possibly most busy during his retirement. Despite time spent in multiple clubs (folk dancing, canoeing, hiking, carving) he still found a way to tend an enviable garden and devote countless hours to turning chunks of wood into works of art.

A service will be held at Shaughnessy Heights United Church on April 25th at 11am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the charity of your choice.
