Lila passed away on April 17 at 7:00 AM in Comox Hospital.

Lila's sons are James and Lawrence Ball.

Lila was born on July 8, 1945 in New Westminster to Harry and Sarah Fast of Langley, BC.

Lila was the 2nd child and 1st girl of 7 children. All were raised in the family home in Langley, BC and taught the morals and values of the church as guidance throughout life. Sunday church services were the norm.

Lila was a very hard worker, a good mother, and loved the outdoors. Lila spent a lot of time in the forest picking cones, salal, mushrooms, and just enjoying nature.

With a couple of her sisters, friends, and in later years with her nephew Kevin who picked boughs and made Christmas wreaths for several years. She was a fierce friend and would support friends and family, sometimes to the detriment of herself. Always willing to help others in need.

Lila is survived by her two sons, Lawrence and James Ball. Two granddaughters Savanah and Kendra, a grandson Travis. Three great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. Lila and her grandson Travis were especially close. Travis stayed with his Grandma Lila often and they supported each other. Lila was predeceased by her brothers Henry and David and survived by siblings Violet, Lorretta, Lilian, and Gordon. Numerous nieces and nephews.
