With a life marked by laughter, service, and an unwavering dedication to her husband Dale, who passed October 6, 2011. Born on October 28, 1943, Linda spent her childhood in South Porcupine, Ontario. After graduating from Elliot Lake Secondary School, she pursued her passion for helping others by studying nursing at the Marymount School of Nursing at Sudbury General Hospital. Her career in nursing was not just a profession but a calling, and Linda's caring touch brought comfort to countless individuals throughout her years of dedicated service until her retirement. She is survived by her daughter, Robyn, and son-in-law, Kendal Jones; her loving brother, Bob Aaltonen, and sister-in-law, Sharon; her cousin Anita Klatt, and her step-children Janice Reeves, and Greg Reeves and his wife Wendy; plus her adored eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, a niece and nephew, all of whom brought immense joy and purpose to her life. Plus her cherished friends Rosalie and Doug Nelson, Diane Alm and many others. Linda's interests were as eclectic and vibrant as her personality. Her dog Calypso was more than a pet; he was a treasured companion. Linda's garden was her joy, while her love for bird watching revealed her appreciation for nature. Those who knew Linda will remember her for her humor and her ability to bring a smile to even the most stoic of faces. She was interesting, never running out of stories, and spirited, approaching life with an energy that was infectious. Linda's presence was a gift to her friends, and her absence will be deeply felt by all who were fortunate enough to have known her. Linda Reeves is now reunited with her cherished husband Dale, once again.
