Lloyd was born and raised in Saskatchewan. Shortly after he graduated, he began his airline career with Trans Air in Churchill, Manitoba. His work with the airlines took him to Winnipeg, Saskatoon, and Calgary.

When he retired, he and Sonya moved to Parksville, B.C. They loved life on the Island and enjoyed exploring everything the Island had to offer. Lloyd liked to be active--he loved to golf and really loved fly fishing.

He leaves behind many friends who enjoyed his company and a family who loved him. We will always cherish the time we spent with him.
