Obituary

Loretta Ohs Obituary Lori passed away peacefully in her Parksville home with family in attendance. She is survived by her husband, Robert (Bob) ohs. Her three sisters, Betty Tremblay (Dennis), Marlene Paquette (Deceased Jerry), and Kim MacDonald. Her four sons, Bradley (Kim), Robin (Anne), Daniel, and Timothy. She is also survived by eight grand children Dustin, Hollie, Brittny (Izaiah), Kai (Courtney), Christiana, Taelor (Quenton), Kelsey, and Daylin. As well as four great grand children, Kaydance, Beau, Poppy, and Cohen. Loretta (Lori) was born in Victoria B.C. on Aug 2, 1940. In her early life Lori, with her family, she traveled throughout Alberta and B.C., finally settling in Port Alberni B.C. While going to high school in Port Alberni she met her husband to be, Robert (Bob) Ohs. After graduating high school Lori moved to Vancouver where she took her training to become a nurse. A few years later Lori and Bob were married in Vancouver and settled back in Port Alberni to begin their married life and start their family, which included their four boys. Lori loved being a mom and took great pride in all her boys. She also loved family vacations and holiday travel. Lori and Bob enjoyed many years of worldwide travel during their life together. In the mid 1970s Bob and Lori relocated to Parksville, B.C. where they continued raising their family and enjoyed many years together in Columbia Beach. In the 1980s Lori completed the real estate course and she carried on to become one of the top agents in the oceanside area for many years. In the 1990s Lori and Bob moved to Arizona where they resided for 15 years. They returned home in 2005 where they were able to enjoy retirement surrounded by their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Lori loved, and lived, life to the fullest and she will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her.
