Lori Patricia McCaughey

Lori passed away suddenly at the Nanaimo Regional Hospital on December 26, 2025 in her 65th year, with loving family and friends by her side.

Lori is survived by sister Lynn (Romanchych), niece Erin (Julian Franch), nieces Addison and Raegan of Ontario and nephew Ben of British Columbia. Lori is predeceased by parents William and Margaret McCaughey. She leaves behind aunts Edith and Jean, and many cousins.

Lori was a vibrant spirit; she had a zest for life and travel, always planning her next adventure or real estate acquisition. And always gathering many friends and acquaintances along the way.

Lori loved boating and renovating houses, thriving on meeting people across the world who would come and stay at her Qualicum beach homes. She loved the ocean, walks along the waterfront, and will rest peacefully there. She will be well missed by family and friends.

A funeral for Lori will be held on Monday January 5, 2026 at Church of the Ascension in Parksville BC at 10:00 am.
