Malcolm Scarratt Obituary A NOTE OF THANKS. Malcolm, my lifelong soulmate, left us December 6th at 23:57. It was quick, calm and peaceful. Thank the Lord! He was so courageous and patient to the end of his 8 year journey with CAA. (The staff brought a rollaway cot beside his bed and I was able to lie beside him and hold him in my arms for the first and the last time in two years.) Learning to live without Malcolm, I am not sure is something I can, nor want to do. Life without him seems inconceivable after 53 years together, yet it is a mountain that must be climbed if I am to continue our work begun together and make true his legacy. Please know your support, prayers and kind words are helping me tremendously in facing this challenging transition. God bless you all for your wonderful friendship, love and prayers.
