Margaret Howie Obituary In Loving Memory Of Margaret Sara Howie 1939 - 2025 Margaret Sara Howie, mother to Shawn Ellsworth (son), Annick Ellsworth (Daughter in law), and granddaughters Alanah and Gwen, passed away peacefully on March 25th, 2025. Her final moments were spent peacefully in hospital in Nanaimo, BC surrounded by family and close friends. Known for her sharp wit and love of family and animals, Marg will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Marg had a passion for law and was a pioneer in her field in New Brunswick where she first started practicing law in the 60s. Margs family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by Shawn, Annick, Alanah and Gwen, the beloved family pets Velvet and Onyx. A private ceremony will be held in Edmundston, NB later in 2025. Donations to your local SPCA on Margs behalf are welcome but not necessary.
