After a courageous battle with cancer, Norman Laverne Harder passed away at Nanaimo General Hospital on December 24th, 2016. He is survived by his wife Janet, his son Greg Harder (Margot), his daughter Katherine Oien (Ken), his grandchildren, Cohen, Madeleine and Kayla, his sister Lillian Harder (Larry Kendler), brother Vern Harder, many nieces and nephews and Janet's children, Jenny Cadman (Kevin Atkinson) and Bryn Cadman (Jam Potong). Norman was pre deceased by his wife Odette Coursol Harder and his sister Joan Farrell (Daniel Farrell) A celebration of life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada or to the BC Cancer Foundation. SERVICES Funeral Service
