Patricia is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, Malcolm Ian Cavanagh, son Nigel, daughters Louise (Mike Vamvounis), Sarah, & Jennifer (Bruce Arthur), grandchildren Alex, Sarah, Jane, Simon, Malcolm, Lena, Elliott, & Evie, brother David Perry (Christine), niece Nicola Jefferies (Stephen), & nephew Adam Perry (Barbara). Pat is pre deceased by her parents, Arthur George and Elsie May Perry, and son in law Tom Patterson (Nigel). Patricia enjoyed a career in teaching in London and then in Germany, where she met Ian, the love of her life. They returned to England and later moved to the Gloucester area of Ottawa, Canada where they raised their family. Patricia was a friend to all, always welcoming people and pets into her home. Her house was full of the sounds of laughter, and the smell of delicious foods. Pat inspired her children to explore the world around them through travel, to advocate for the less fortunate, and to pursue creative endeavors. Pat loved with trust and respect, showed us the power of perseverance, and taught us to laugh at ourselves. She leaves a gaping hole in our lives, but also the most beautiful memories.
