Patricia McLeod Obituary Patricia Hendry McLeod September 19, 1938 April 18, 2025 Patricia Hendry McLeod passed away peacefully in Parksville on April 18, 2025, at the age of 86. Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Pat was deeply proud of her Maritime roots and carried that sense of east coast spirit with her throughout her life. Pats journey took her from Halifax to Montreal, where she learned her wonderful sense of style, then to Prince George, she settled in Qualicum Beach in 1996a place she lovingly called home. She cherished the charm of the community and the wonderful friends she made and she took great joy in being close to the ocean. A lover of beauty in all its forms, Pat had a lifelong appreciation for art, music, and fine craftsmanship. She was member of the Qualicum Weavers and Spinners Guild, where she was known for her refined sense of style and passion for textiles. Every piece she wore or created had to have a good "hand"a testament to her keen eye and deep appreciation for quality and detail. Pat also held a deep love for art and the symphony and found great joy in pieces that stirred her soul. Pat was predeceased by her sister, Jan Goodlad, and by her husbands, Jim McLeod and Al Watkins. She is survived by her dear friends Trish and Rudi Widdershoven, her cousin Helen Hendry, and Terry, Chris, and Brad McLeod and their families, all of whom she held close to her heart. In honour of Pats love for the arts and community, donations can be made to the Pat McLeod Arts and Cultural Foundation through the Parksville Qualicum Foundation. Her legacy of creativity lives on in the lives she touched and the beauty she left behind.
