Philip Alexander Obituary We sadly announce the death of Phil Alexander of Parksville on January 17th, 2019. A Queen's University graduate in Civil Engineering, Phil worked in transportation planning and then in IT for Innovapost in Ottawa. He is survived by daughters Meredith and Amy; son Dan; and grandson Franklin; also his loving partner Jenny and her sons Kris and Erik. His passions included genealogy, gardening, sports and most recently woodworking. He volunteered his time with several groups in Parksville and gladly lent a hand wherever needed. He was honest, hardworking, kind and loyal. He will be missed by all who knew him. A memorial service is being held at Knox United Church, 345 Pym Street, Parksville on Tuesday January 22nd at 2pm. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice or the Nanaimo Hospital Foundation.
