Robert Folkmann Obituary Robert Arthur (Bob) Folkmann passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025, in Nanaimo, BC, at 90. Bob was born on July 30, 1934, to John and Greta in Didsbury, AB. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Victoria (Vicki), in June 2020, and his daughter, Patti, in January 2023. Bob had a lifelong passion for sports, particularly golf, as a player and an avid spectator. He will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his children: Paul (Mary Anne), Tim (Wendy), Tina (Tom); his grandchildren: Jared, Seth, Leah, Morgana, Layla, Craig, Zachary, and Jordana; and his great-grandchildren: Aurelia, Slone, Thora, Noah, Ella, Odin, Finn, Beau, Sadie, and Huxley. The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to Bobs friends and neighbors who visited him and provided him with care, especially after Vicki's passing. Special thanks to his dear friends Frans and Lynda and Donna and Lyle, who visited regularly.
