Ronald Cameron Obituary Ronald Cameron passed away at Trillium Lodge Hospice in Parksville after a lengthy battle with cancer. He will be missed by his wife Irmgard (Inga) of 44 years, his sister Lynne and husband Ron and many relatives and friends. Ronald was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and moved to Canada as a teenager together with his family. He settled in Toronto where he worked in the financial field until his retirement. He married Irmgard who had arrived from Germany some time earlier to learn english and return home, which never happened. Sailing was Ronalds passion, being a member of QCYC on Toronto island, he enjoyed many years of racing and cruising Lake Ontario and beyond and in retirement sailing to Florida, the Bahamas and Cuba. In 2007 he and his wife moved to Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island where he spent many happy years. There will be no funeral as per Ronalds wishes. Cremation has taken place.
