Obituary

Ronald Husband Obituary It is with loving memory and sad hearts we say goodbye after the sudden passing of Ron in Nanaimo at the age at 57 years, a beloved father, brother and friend. Born and raised in Revelstoke, Ron attended the University of Calgary and obtained his MBA. Never attached to one location for too long, Ron called several places home until finally moving from Vancouver and settling in Fort MacMurray for six years. In 2010 Ron moved from Fort MacMurray to Calgary where he resided until his unfortunate passing. Ron enjoyed most sports and the outdoors but in recent years spent most of his free time golfing and fishing. A scratch golfer and member of the Glencoe Golf and Curing Club, Ron was always available and eager to provide advice to the junior members. After purchasing his Kingfisher boat, Ron has spent most of the last three summers fishing in and around Tofino and Parksville. Very generous with his time, Ron always had trips organized with family and friends. Ron is survived by his son Logan, Logans mother Carol Lepper, Father Bill Husband, Mother Shirley Husband, brothers Les (Leslie) Husband, Rod Husband, sisters Sylvia (Tim) Cocker and Linda Husband. He also leaves to mourn his partner Heather Aspden as well as extended family and friends. Those who knew Ron are asked to celebrate his life in their own way. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
