In Loving Memory of Ron

A talented graphic artist and avid adventurer, Ron passed away on July 14, 2026, at the age of 89, in Parksville, British Columbia.

Born in Regina, Saskatchewan, on February 5, 1937, Ron lived a vibrant and creative life across Western Canada. He made his home in Regina, Edmonton, and Calgary before settling in Parksville. His career as a graphic artist allowed him to see the world through a lens of design, colour, and beauty. Outside of his work, Ron was happiest in motion—hiking through nature, enjoying cars, embarking on long road trips, and exploring new places during his many travels abroad.

Ron is survived by his loving wife, Paula. He leaves behind his children from his first marriage, Kirby (Anita) and Karin (Roberto); his stepchildren from his second marriage, Leanne and Randy; and Paula’s grown stepsons, Simon (Shannon) and Graham (Kerry). He is also survived by his sister, Sharon (Wally); his nephew, Kerry (Lisa); his niece, Trecia; his beloved cousin, Marlene; as well as several other cousins, grandchildren, and great‑grandchildren.

Ron’s warmth, creativity, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
