It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing at home of Rudolf (Rudy) on Monday January 16, 2017. He was born in Athabasca, Alberta and served 26 years with the RCMP. He is survived by his loving wife Karen Champagne, his 2 sons Randy and Mark (Patty), 3 precious granddaughters Madelyn, Hannah and Kara (Marc) Rochette plus 2 great grandsons Aidric and Kian Rochette. He is also survived by his siblings Anne (Denis) Walsh, Gertrude (late Jim) Grieves, Rosalyn Byrtus, Agnes (Jim) Holter, George (Pam) Byrtus and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brother Alex (Sylvia) Byrtus and sister Mary (Gordon) Arseneault. Fondly remembered by the Buetow family. Rudy will be sadly missed by family and friends.
