Sharon Frances Deagle

October 31, 1950 – January 16, 2026

With profound sadness, we share the passing of Sharon Frances Deagle, who went to be with the Lord on January 16, 2026, in Nanaimo, British Columbia.

Sharon was born on October 31, 1950, to her loving parents Ernie and Carol Deagle, who welcomed her home in Heaven before her. She lived a life rooted in family, faith, and kindness, leaving a gentle and lasting mark on everyone she met.

For 35 years, Sharon worked proudly for the Provincial Government of Alberta, where she was respected for her dedication, reliability, and kindness. She took great pride in her work and in the relationships she built with the many people she met along the way.

Anyone who knew Sharon knew how deeply she loved her daughter and her grandchildren. They meant everything to her. She shared an incredibly close bond with her daughter Muriel Deagle, and her greatest joy in life was being "Grandma" to Jayden, Madison, Conor, and Jaxson. She treasured every moment spent with them and spoke of them with endless pride and love.

Sharon had a close relationship with God and found comfort and strength in her faith. She was gentle, compassionate, and always ready to lend an ear or offer a kind word. She loved gardening, spending time outdoors, and talking to people—whether family, friends, or someone new she had just met. Her warm spirit and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone around her.

Sharon is lovingly remembered by her sisters Karen Montpetit (Stan) and Gerri Tiffin (Don), her brother Ken Deagle, her daughter Muriel, and her beloved grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her extended family and by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing she is at peace and reunited with those who went before her.

A celebration of Sharon's life will be held for family and close friends. Details will be shared privately.
