Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Passed away in the early evening of April 29th at the NRGH at the age of 76 surrounded by her beloved husband Thomas of 55 years, and her sons Michael and Thomas Jr. Sonya leaves behind her daughter Dee and was predeceased by her daughter Tara. Sonya also leaves behind her siblings Sylvia Levitt, Sandy Munro, Sherry Taylor and brother Barney. Sonya & Tom were residents of Victoria for many years and raised their children there. They retired to the Qualicum Beach area twenty-three years ago and spent many memorable years enjoying the mid-island with their Golden Retriever / Border Collie Bree. Sonya and Tom spent many days selling their wood working craft at local flea markets etc. and enjoying a story or two with local residents. No service by request. Cremation has taken place.
