Obituary

Stanley Blair Obituary It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Scotty Blair on June 6 at the North Island Hospital Comox Valley. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife, Elvia; son, Andrew (Claudia); and granddaughters, Maya and Sarah. He was predeceased by his sister, Alice and brother, Ronald. He was born in Dundee, Scotland where he grew up. After working as a shepherd, he immigrated to Canada following WWII and became a carpenter. He and his wife retired in Bowser where they enjoyed a leisurely life. He enjoyed building and sailing his own boats and was an avid gardener and beekeeper. He was a member of CMAW Union Local 1081 and the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 211, 7035 Island Hwy W, Bowser, BC V0R 1G0, where a Celebration of Life reception will be held on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Services Celebration of Life Thursday June 28, 2018 11:00 AM Bowser Legion 7030 West Island Highway Bowser, British Columbia V0R 1G0
