Tyler Murray Leroux (nee Moss)
February 3, 1993 - February 4, 2026
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tyler Leroux in Qualicum Beach, BC. He passed away suddenly at the age of 33. Tyler lived an energetic life with his partner, Nicole Chambers, their family, and his many friends. He loved the outdoors, enjoying hiking, camping and especially ATVing around the local trails of Oceanside.
Tyler grew up in Kelowna, BC, and Calgary, AB, before moving to Vancouver Island in 2003. He cherished the memories he made as a child with his father dirtbiking and having long conversations around the campfire. Tyler is now reunited with his beloved father, Murray Moss, who passed away from cancer when Tyler was only 12.
He was known as a hard worker who loved carpentry and engaged in woodworking projects with passion. Tyler approached life with curiosity, enthusiasm, and zest. He made many friendships everywhere he went and was loved for his generosity, keen sense of humour, and willingness to help out those in need.
Animals held a special place in Tyler's heart. He always owned a dog and could tame the fiercest pup of all. He trained and grew to love his German Shepherd, Grizz, after his previous dog, Bentley, suddenly passed. Tyler faced many challenges in his life, all with courage and determination to start anew.
He was a kind, caring, and fun-loving person. Most of all, Tyler loved being a dad. He was a stepfather to two girls and recently was thrilled to have a son of his own. The world will be a quieter place without him.
Tyler was predeceased by his father, Murray, and grandfather, Barry. Tyler leaves behind his partner, Nicole, his son, Asher, his stepdaughters, Thalia and Anastashia, his mother, Andrea, brother, Cole, and half-sister, Sara. Tyler will be sadly missed by his grandmother, Lorraine, and his aunt, Janita, who both spent quality time with him and appreciated his mutual love and understanding.
We wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to Manna, Salvation Army 8and the many individuals who provided care, support, and comfort to Tyler over the last year.
If desired, in memory of Tyler, please make a donation to Manna.
A columbarium service will be held at noon, Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Qualicum Beach Cemetery, 876 Jones St. There will be a celebration of life at 1 pm @ 3715 Malcolm Rd, Qualicum Beach.
