William Bollee Obituary William Jacobus Bollee, 85 years, of Qualicum Beach passed away on Sept 17 at the Qualicum Manor. Bill was born on March 3, 1939, in Doorwerth, Netherlands to Willem and Huiberdina Bollee. Bill moved to Prince George, BC as a young man where he met and married his wife, Rita. In July they celebrated 56 years of marriage. Early on in life, Bill worked for the Royal Bank in the agricultural loans department. He then took a job that saw him on many trips overseas brokering deals for different Canadian companies. When Bill and Rita settled in Qualicum Beach, Bill started to manage three apartment blocks. Bill took care of his tenants like they were family. Bill was very well-known in Qualicum. He always had a smile on his face and time to talk to everyone. Bill and Rita loved cats and dogs. Throughout their lives, they had over 20 different pets. Each and every one of them brought a special kind of love to their lives. Bill is survived by his wife Rita. Bill has left a void that will be filled with tears but in time with happy memories and smiles.
