Charlene Anne (Blake) Pickard

After a long struggle with dementia, Charlene died peacefully in Qualicum Manor. She was born in Sarnis, Ontario, and with her daughters, Joanna and Anne-Marie, married Andy Pickard in Sarnia, 1972. After 7 years, they moved to Calgary for nearly 25 years, and then Charlene led the way, coming to Oceanside in 2003, while Andy followed in 2004. She was an active Christian, involved with Christian Fellowship Centre and Our Saviour Lutheran Church. As an artist, Charlene was accomplished in both oils and water colours.

Over the years, Charlene and Andy enjoyed great holidays in the Caribbean, Mexico, Cuba, New Zealand, Fiji and French Polynesia.
