Norman Geoffrey BIRT
November 3, 1950 - December 26, 2022
My soulmate and husband of 44+ years is gone. He left this world early on December 26th at home with his hand in mine. Geoff was the best husband anyone could have, loving, caring, generous, respectful and supportive. He was born in Vancouver and raised in North Vancouver. He worked for 35+ years with BC Hydro before retiring in 2005. We married in 1978 and lived in North Vancouver, Prince George, Smithers, Abbotsford and finally retired to Qualicum Beach in 2012. Geoff loved it here and loved maintaining our home and yard. He curled and golfed and made many new friends after we moved to Qualicum. He leaves behind 3 sisters, Marnie (Mike) Graham, Sheila (Bill) Eller and Kathy (Chuck) Butkus as well as me, his wife Barbara. There will not be a service by his wishes. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Prostate Cancer BC at www.prostatecancerbc.ca which is the terrible disease Geoff battled since 2016.
