I miss you and had hoped we could at some point meet up again with Sam. I still remember the times we would hang out after class and just talk about anything. Feeling like Socrates and Plato, we would talk about topics most people would consider trivial. It was those simple times I still cherish and miss today. We would go to a park, hang out behind a grocery store, rent a spot to jam. That’s how I know our friendship was special and would last forever, because we didn’t need much to have a good time. We could be financially exceptionally wealthy, and I could still see us just hanging out a park.
You are one of the most inspirational people I have met in my life, and you always had a positive view of life, even when discussing the negative. Being around you, I truly felt that your presence was one for the betterment of our world. You had a good heart. You were a good man. One of the very few I would consider a brother. The world desperately needs more people with your mindset.
You taught me that no matter how old you are you can still change and turn your life around for the better. You inspired me to turn my life around and pursue my dreams, and not the dollar. We talked about this several times, and at the time I did not agree. You were the living example of that, and I’m so glad that you were able to pursue your dreams and do so successfully. Not just because you reached your goal, but because of the journey you had getting there. You had a blast the entire time, and that’s the most amazing part.
I miss you. You are gone, but your influence in my life and many others will live on. For that I am most grateful my dearest friend.

I am saddened to hear about your passing. I am happy that you are no longer suffering and in pain. You fought a hard, courageous battle. Happy that you got to be with your family thus past year.
I am so thankful and grateful to develop a great friendship with you in Halifax. Always loved to chat with you about the canucks, habs, raptors, games, beers and music. When I worked next door to you I always looked forward to chatting with you outside.
Thank you for the fun chats, the laughs, your wisdom and being such an all-round great guy. Your spirit, energy and memories will always live on.
Thank you Bonnie and Graham for letting me know of Grant's passing. Truly appreciated.
Sending my heartfelt condolences to Bonnie and Graham, Grant's friends and his family during these difficult times.
