BEVERLEY ALLEN

Owner/Funeral Director

To introduce myself I am Beverley Allen or “Bev” as I am usually known by. I began my service as a Funeral Director through an unlikely suggestion from my late husband and partner, Paul.
My new found career choice lead me to attend Humber College’s Funeral Services Education Program from which I graduated on the Dean's Honour Role.
It was June 21, 2014 that truly cemented my desire to provide for those requiring our services in a way unique to only those in Funeral Service, by looking after the arrangements and preparation of my husband and life mate, Paul. It was during this time that I realized more than ever the importance of personalization, viewing and the caring of a loved one on an intimate level. It was this experience that re-enforced that everyone should be given all the options available and served at the highest of levels. Because of this, the view of our family serving your family became a tired expression, rather our family “caring” for your family is now my focus and what I now strive to provide.

Jaret Jones

Funeral Director/Embalmer

Jaret was born and raised in the prairies of Alberta and worked in precision sheet metal industry until a friend introduced him to the Funeral Director and Embalming program at Mount Royal University. After completing the program and finishing the apprenticeship he became a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in 2006 and has been licensed ever since. Jaret has been licensed in Alberta, Ontario and B.C which has given him an extensive amount of experience and knowledge regarding funeral service. He is excited to bring his skills and passion for the funeral industry to Qualicum Beach Memorials. When Jaret isn’t working he enjoys going for hikes with his wife Samantha and two young boys, Maddox and Gavin.

TREVOR HUMPHREYS

Client Care

Trevor has been a valuable member of our team for several years. In his role as client care he is usually the first contact families have with our service. The services that he performs and his outstanding decorum are a great comfort to our families. It is his strong attention to detail and his ability to work effectively with others that makes Trevor a vital part of our team.

SUE CADENY

Pre-Arrangements

Sue has come to work for Qualicum Beach Memorial Services as a certified Pre-Arrangement and After-care Consultant, after six years at Kearney Funeral Service on the lower mainland. She and her husband moved to Qualicum Beach on August 9, 2017 and she can be heard to say "pinch me as I cannot believe I live in such a beautiful place."
